LCA-GCS explorer

The explorer opens the Large City Architecture: Generated Cityscape Set one city at a time: type a city, and its images appear grouped by architectural type and by the model that generated them, each with the prompt and the seed it came from. A second view compares one type across cities, from the largest city down; the maps assemble one generated image per place into figures of Texas and the world; the CLIP view colours the world's cities by how strongly a model believes it can see them. Nothing is copied out of the dataset for this: the explorer reads each image in place from the dataset's archives on Hugging Face, so what you see is what the set holds.

The set itself is documented under LCA-GCS and published as an open dataset under CC BY-NC 4.0 (DOI 10.57967/hf/3111); the explorer runs as a page of this site and as a Space on Hugging Face. It belongs to the program Latent Earth, and it replaces the earlier site largecityarchitecture.org. For the whole window, open the explorer on its own.
